Off to the St.Paul Loon for excellent supper, good wine and excellent friends, Penny & Cecil. Congrats, our waitress was super, the shrimp was hot and good and it snowed. We were there for an old time radio production. The group was The Mysterious Old Radio Listening Society. Shanan, Joshua, Tim and Eric presented an old radio horror program and a Fitzgerald piece called, The Diamond as Big as the Ritz. A fun evening, even though lots of sticky snow greeted us at the end.
Orson Wells once held forth that radio actors needed to be physical as well as vocal. I agree. This show would have been helped with little more physicality.
